Trusted by doctors and patients for over 60 years, Devrom® provides a discreet and reliable way to manage embarrassing odors, helping you live more comfortably and confidently.
A Gentle, Effective Solution for Odor Control
Devrom® is not a supplement that masks odors; it’s an OTC medication that neutralizes them at the source. The active ingredient, Bismuth Subgallate, works within your digestive tract to eliminate odor before it begins. It is a simple, effective way to manage odor associated with certain foods, digestive issues, or post-operative conditions like ostomy, ileostomy, or bariatric surgery.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- How does Devrom® work?
- The active ingredient, Bismuth Subgallate, acts as an internal deodorant within your digestive tract. It works on the substances that cause odor in gas and stool, neutralizing them before they are expelled from the body.
- Is the darkening of the stool or tongue harmful?
- No. This is a common and completely harmless side effect of taking a bismuth-containing product (similar to Pepto-Bismol®). The effect is temporary and will go away after you stop taking the product.
- Can I use this for digestive issues like gas or bloating?
- No. Devrom® is not a digestive aid. It does not reduce the amount of gas your body produces. Its sole function is to neutralize the *odor* of gas and stool.
